Great views! All sites are oceanfront. Walk out from campsite into the water. Restrooms are clean and convenient to the sites. Utility hookups for some sites are on the passenger side of the site, requiring extension cords or extra hoses. Kayak rentals are available on site.
Beautiful. Without a doubt. Unfortunately, my visit was right after Hurricane Irma. It needs a lot of work and love. Will be a long time before it is up to it's previous glory.

Tried to visit all the state parks in the keys and this was my first stop. While it's very limited due to the recovery efforts, I still had a blast going through the Mangrove Swamp and a little bit of a ways up the nature trail. Hoping to be back in February and seeing what all has been fixed. Will definitely visit again. Delightful staff.
I was here twice this summer (2017). All the sites are right on the water. Only one short hiking trail in the park, but being on the Atlantic Ocean is really the best part. It's a good 20 minute drive to Islamorada and a bit farther to Marathon. I go across the street every night for amazing sunsets. Fish the nearby bridges. Kayak and snorkel at the site.
